Event Details

As a part of our 4 in 1 grant funding program, NAL will be discussing the health effects of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). This “Silent Epidemic” affects over 1.5 million people in the United States every 21 seconds. That said, it is important for NAL to help bring awareness to those who are affected by it the most, our Native American/Alaskan Native community members. During the event, NAL will engage with community members through a health education that focuses on TBI prevention and awareness. We’ll also have a shared community activity for those wanting to participate. Everyone is welcome to participate in a positive way and get a chance to win one of our door prizes.

Lead Staff:
Autumn (Moderator/Presenter)

Support Staff:
Jessica Dickerson (Facebook live facilitator)

Other Notes:
At the end of the event a Kahoot game will be played where staff and participants can play for a chance to win a door prize!
